A classic creation of the northwest frontier of iIndia. This curry sauce has a rich blend of tomato, onion and yoghurt. The exotic and rich blend of spices gives this sauce a mild flavor.

Serving Suggestion

Method

  1. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add your choice of diced meat, seafood, or vegetables and cook on high for 2-3 minutes until seared.
  3. Pour simmer sauce into a pan, stir contents, cover pan with lid and reduce heat to simmer until fully cooked and tender.
  4. Serve on a bed of steamed rice.

What You'll Need

  • 1 lb (450g) Chicken, beef, lamb, seafood, or vegetables
  • 2 cups (380g) Basmati Rice
  • Optional: 2 Tablespoons of plain yoghurt

Chef's Note

For some extra zing, try stirring a few tablespoons of natural yoghurt into your tikka masala before serving
